Snapshot uses Shopify’s integrated billing system, which means you can upgrade or downgrade your plan directly from your Shopify Admin. This guide explains how to change your plan at any time.
🔧 How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan
Follow these steps to change your current Snapshot plan:
Log in to your Shopify Admin
Go to: https://your-store.myshopify.com/admin
In the left-hand sidebar, click Settings.
Select Apps and Sales Channels.
Find Snapshot in the list and click Manage.
Scroll to the Billing section.
You will see your current plan and available options:
Upgrade to access higher backup limits or premium features
Downgrade to a smaller plan if your store doesn't need as many backups.
Click the plan you want to switch to and confirm the change through Shopify’s billing screen.
🔄 Alternative Way to Change Your Plan
You can also change your plan directly from inside the Snapshot app:
In your Shopify Admin, go to Apps.
Open the Snapshot app.
Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of the app window.
Select Manage app.
Scroll to the Billing section to upgrade or downgrade your plan.
This provides a quick shortcut without navigating through the Settings menu.
📅 When Do Plan Changes Take Effect?
Upgrades → Apply immediately.
Downgrades → Apply at the end of your current billing cycle.
All billing adjustments are handled automatically by Shopify.
